3 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Paddy O'Day, the 1935 Lewis Seiler New York City Irish immigrant juvenile musical comedy melodrama (about a young Irish immigrant girl who comes to New York to live with her mother, but her mother passes away right before she arrives, so she goes "on the run", and she gets involved with a Russian dancer and the dancer's friends, who are opening a nightclub) starring Jane Withers (in the title role as Paddy O'Day), Pinky Tomlin, Rita Hayworth (in only her second real role, after several uncredited or dancing bit parts; billed as "Rita Cansino", which was her real name, playing the Russian dancer), Jane Darwell, and George Givot. Note that after the movie opened, "Weekly Variety" ran the following: "Rita Cansino comes along nicely in this, though she is better known as a dancer than a player. She has two dance bits, both Russian, the last on a tasteful production number that actually fits the stage on which it's supposed to be played!"

Condition: good to very good. Each still has some degree of faint creases, smudges and light scuffs. One still has tape on the back of some edges (not put there for any restoration purpose). Two have tiny edge tears, and the still pictured at upper left has a few faint stains at upper center and a tack hole in each corner, but otherwise they are in pretty nice condition.
