An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

Vote Democratic, the 1948 political campaign poster ("Vote Democratic November 2, 1948"; "Elect experienced Democrats for good government") advocating voting for Harry S. Truman for President as well as Democrats running for various seats in the state of Missouri, which was Truman's home state, and "Lady Liberty" is in the background as a subliminal message to voters. Note that this poster includes photographic images of all the Democratic nominees it was endorsing, including Truman, Governor Forrest Smith, Attorney General J.E. Taylor.

Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: very good. The card has tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner. It has a single pinhole in the top border of the Forrest Smith's photo and a few minor scuffs and tiny dot stains around the edges.
