An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Underwater!, the 1955 John Sturges aquatic scuba diving swimming romantic adventure thriller ("Skin Diver Action..."; "Aqua-lung Thrills!"; "Jane Russell as you've never seen her before!"; "Underwater Fury in that new, exciting underwater world!"; "Come On Below to that new, exciting Underwater World... With Jane Russell as you've never seen her before! It took 3 years to make... Cost $3,000,000!"; "The new anamorphic process Superscope on the giant wide screen"; produced by Howard Hughes) starring Jane Russell, Gilbert Roland, Richard Egan, Lori Nelson, and Robert Keith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. 7" tear in the lower left edge extending into the "U" in "UNDERWATER" in the title; 2 1/2" of separation and some small paper loss in the top crossfold in Russell's forehead as well as minor separation and paper loss in the middle and bottom crossfolds and some tiny tears along the foldlines; some minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (mostly along the foldlines and edges); 2 1/2" of separation in the right end of the top horizontal fold and some 1 1/4" and smaller areas of separation at some of the other ends of the foldlines. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are somewhat minor and are the sort that respond well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster would look great, and it would have little paint restoration anywhere on it! Learn More about condition grades
