An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Affair in Trinidad, the 1952 Vincent Sherman Caribbean romantic love triangle murder crime film noir ("Rita Hayworth is back with her 'Gilda' co-star Glenn Ford"; "'You weren't the first... and you won't be the last!'"; "Don't tell Me I'm just one more!"; "Those 'Gilda' stars again in Affair in Trinidad"; about a nightclub singer and her brother-in-law who try to find her husband's killer) starring Rita Hayworth ("is back!"; "is back with her 'Gilda' co-star"; "She's Back!"), Glenn Ford ("her 'Gilda' man"), Alexander Scourby, Valerie Bettis, Torin Thatcher, and Juanita Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster had creases, tears, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. There were three tears that extended into the image area. One was near the top center of the poster that went into the yellow background, one was in the right of the bottom border which went into the pink background, and one was in the middle of the right border, which went into the hair of the inset image of Hayworth. There were smudges around the edges of the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer put new paper over the left, right, and top borders, but did next-to-no restoration to the image area, and so the smudges and scuffs around the edges of the poster are still somewhat noticeable.
