She is thought of as a "1930s actress", but actually, she had nine uncredited roles in 1929! Some of her movies include: The Invisible Woman (in the title role), Pardon My Sarong, Jane Eyre, and Kongo. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Virginia Bruce. It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item has been trimmed and it now measures 1" x 2 3/4" [3 x 7 cm]. This autograph (and others from this same collection we are offering in separate auctions) comes from the estate of Dorothy Credille, who was a Hollywood publicist in the 1930s to the 1950s. During the course of her work, she became personal friends and an acquaintance of all the top Hollywood stars, and she collected many autographs in an autograph book (as well as some signed 8x10s and 11x14s). Someone took the autograph book and cut out the individual autographs, and this is one of those autographs from that book. We feel certain that it is authentic. Condition: good to very good. The autograph is glued to a heavier piece of paper and has tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner. Learn More about condition grades
