Note that each poster has been mounted onto a "Chartex"-like material (we are not 100% certain it is Chartex, but if not, it is something very similar. Chartex is a backing paper that is a linen-like paper, similar to the material you line drawers with. It serves its function well in that the poster is preserved, which is why many restorers other than movie poster restorers use it, but it is very difficult to impossible to remove from the back of the posters. SO DO NOT BID ON THIS LOT UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT THE POSTERS LIKELY CAN'T BE REMOVED FROM THEIR BACKING, AND WILL NEED TO BE KEPT AS THEY ARE (although it is not harming the posters, and it enables them to be displayed). Note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s to the 1980s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: from 22 1/2" x 31 3/4" to 23" x 33"Condition: good to very good. Each poster was mounted onto "Chartex" (see above) with no restoration. They have excess Chartex at the top and bottom. They almost surely can't be removed from the backing, but fortunately, they are in nice condition and can certainly be displayed as they are.
