Stahl romantic family relationship mother sacrifice melodrama (based on the novel by Fannie Hurst; about a woman who intends to marry a man, but circumstances prevent that from happening, and they separate for many years, and reunite when the man is married, but the woman has a "back street" affair with him) starring Irene Dunne, John Boles, June Clyde, George Meeker, Jane Darwell, Zasu Pitts, and Robert McWade.
