DeMille, Preston Sturges, Ralph Murphy, Dolores Ann Sagendorf, Marion Martin, and Katherine Dunham (she was a black African American dancer and choreographer who had one of the most successful dance careers of the 20th century and directed her own dance company for many years; she has been called the "matriarch and queen mother of black dance") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this movie was an all-star patriotic movie assembled by Paramount Pictures at the height of World War II. This particular lobby card shows a wonderful image of Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson wearing a zoot suit and cool white hat, and standing at the intersection of 137th Street and 7th Avenue in Harlem in New York City, and he is flanked by two black soldiers in uniform, and around a dozen black men and women dressed really nicely! There is a folding sign on the sidewalk beside them that has the classic James Montgomery Flagg Uncle Sam "I want YOU" image with the words "U.S. ARMY ENLIST NOW"! Condition: very good. There are a few very faint smudges in the lower right of the image, and a few more in the blank borders. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
