Artist: Frank McCarthy Important Added Info: Note that exhibitor magazines and studio yearbooks would sometimes have three or four page fold-outs that would be a full-color ad for a studio's upcoming movie. It seems likely that this poster was originally a 4-page fold-out from a magazine. However, a knowledgeable collector believes that this was a special promotional poster sent directly to theater owners to encourage them to book the movie. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had other advertising for the movie printed on the reverse, and it lightly bled through in parts of the white background areas. The restorer put some touch up paint on areas that bled through, and it is now not at all distracting from a reasonable viewing distance. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
