Buck Rogers is a science fiction (sci-fi) character created by Philip Francis Nowlan in 1928 for the pulp magazine Amazing Stories. The character and story were adapted into a syndicated comic strip which debuted in early 1929, and later adaptations included radio, a film serial, a television series, and more. The adventures of Buck Rogers became an important part of American popular culture. Buck Rogers has been credited with bringing into popular media the concept of space exploration, following in the footsteps of literary pioneers such as Jules Verne, H. G. Wells and Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Important Added Info: Note that this Buck Rogers comic strip newspaper page is from the Chicago American comic section from Saturday, November 11, 1933. The back of the page has comics for Belles and Wedding Bells and Polly and Her Pals, but we only pictured the Buck Rogers strip, because that is surely of most interest to collectors!

Condition: good to very good. The newspaper page was folded twice, and there is slight separation at the ends of the folds, and the page is slightly fragile (see our image).
