An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) Pleasantville, the 1998 Gary Ross family relationship romantic fantasy comedy ("Nothing is as simple as Black and White."; "From the co-creator of 'Big' and 'Dave'"; about a brother and sister who fight over a TV remote control and are transported into a "Father Knows Best-like" black & white TV show where they then turn the world upside down by bringing 1990s values [and color!] to that 1960s world, where people are literally black and white!) starring Tobey Maguire, Jeff Daniels, Joan Allen, William H. Macy, J.T. Walsh, Don Knotts, and Reese Witherspoon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is a double-sided poster. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: very good.
