He was the host of the long running pop music radio show American Top 40. He also provided the voice of Shaggy on TV's "Scooby Doo"! He passed away in 2014 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Casey Kasem! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic.
