Also note that this is an advance subway poster (note the "Opens June 20th" at the bottom of the poster). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had many creases and small tears along almost all of the folds, with some tiny bits of paper loss. It had pinholes and tears around the edges. It had some defect involving the title that caused the letters to be almost completely repainted (perhaps there was a snipe over them). Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
