An Original Vintage Folded Record Album Insert Poster (measures 22" x 33" [56 x 84 cm]) (Learn More)

Dylan, the 1967 poster created by Milton Glaser for Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) record album, which was released in 1967, and an example of this poster was included with each album. Note that many people see the name "Elvis" in the rainbow hair, but Glaser says "I have to say that was not intentional. In fact, it didn't even occur to me until 15 years later when some critic said that he saw Elvis' name there. He thought it meant something. But it doesn't. Or maybe it does. All this stuff goes on beneath the surface, in the unconscious. You never know what the f**k you're doing and why you're doing it." Also, note that Glaser sells a modern reproduction of this poster from his website, but it measures slightly differently and it does not have the "MILTON GLASER" in the top right corner.

Artist: Milton Glaser
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There are several large pieces of masking tape on the back of the poster with some bleeding through to the front at upper left and right and in the corners and the poster has darkened slightly with age. Fortunately, it seems likely that a professional restorer could remove the tape and stains through chemical means and the poster would look great after linenbacking!
