An Original 1974 (probably from the first German release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked German Movie Poster (measures approximately 23" x 33") (Learn More) Ciao! Manhattan, the 1972 John Palmer & David Weisman New York drug-addiction thriller (about a beautiful model who has done too many drugs and suffered permanent brain damage, and her last days) starring Edie Sedgwick (a once glamorous model and Andy Warhol protege whose life tragically paralleled the fictional life of the star of this movie; she died of a drug overdose in 1971, and this movie is patched together with scenes from an unfinished movie she made in 1967, combined with new footage; apparently, the movie is a really disturbing mess!), Wesley Hayes, Isabel Jewell, Geoff Briggs, Paul America, Viva, Roger Vadim, and Charlie Bacis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This German poster measures approximately 23" x 33" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had creases and tiny scuffs down the vertical foldline and across the bottom horizontal foldline. There were some scuffs in the "AD" of "ADDIO!" in the title. There were some creases in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
