He also appeared in several film, usually as a cameo of himself or a reporter! SOme of his movies include: Planet of the Apes, Gable and Lombard, and California Suite. Archerd passed away in 2009 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Army Archerd! Note that this is one of four letters we were consigned that were sent to Charles Feldman, who was the head of the Famous Artists agency, and we are auctioning all four of the letters in four separate auctions. Our consignor purchased all four of these letters at an auction of Charles Feldman's estate. One would think that a letter to an important man like this would be personally signed, and not by a secretary (and each has personalized content about the gift). Condition: very good.
