Armand Rapeno was a French art nouveau artist from the 1920s to the 1930s. If anyone knows more about this person, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we were consigned two different French two-panel posters that appear to surely be from either the 1920s or early 1930s. Both have no writing on them at all, except for the artist name and the printer info. We were unable to determine anything about either of these posters, and they may be from movies, or they may have been created for some other purpose. We also found very little information about the artist. If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. We are offering each poster in a separate auction. Note that this French two-panel measures 63" x 93 1/2" [160 x 237 cm]. Also note that this French two-panel was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: fair. The poster is extremely fragile and completely separated on several folds. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration. But the poster is mostly "all there", and after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require little paint restoration within the image. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
