El Violetero (literally translates to "The Violet Vendor"), the 1960 Gilberto Martinez Solares Mexican romantic comedy (about a flower vendor who is hired as a gardener by a wealthy woman, befriended by her daughter, groomed into a cultured man, made partner in a flower shop and eventually falls in love with the daughter.) starring German Valdes, Marina Comacho, Renee Dumas, Eduardo Alcaraz, and Garciela Lara. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
