La Croix de Guerre Des Femmes (literally translates to "The Women's War Cross"), the 1918 World War I (WWI) poster ("Let it rest on my shoulder now - American woman"; "Compliments of D.W. Griffith whose Artcraft picture, 'The Great Love' reveals officially the war work of English women"), featuring artwork of two nurses along with the flags of the United States and United Kingdom. Note that this poster mentions the 'lost' D.W. Griffith film "The Great Love", and it seems to have been sponsored by the studio as a form of advertising.
