A 2004 Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Advance One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) THX 1138, the 1971 George Lucas science fiction (sci-fi) dystopian future melodrama ("The future is here."; "Visit the future where love is the ultimate crime."; "Story by George Lucas"; "Executive Producer, Francis Ford Coppola") starring Robert Duvall (in the title role as THX 1138), Donald Pleasence, Don Pedro Colley, John Seaton, Johnny Weissmuller Jr., Susan Baldwin, Ian Wolfe, and Maggie McOmie. Note that this was George Lucas' first movie. Some people (including myself) liked it quite a bit, but generally its dark and ultra-depressing theme turned off audiences, and it was not very successful on first release. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]. Also note that this is an advance one-sheet (note the "9.10.04" at the bottom of the poster). Finally, note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good to very good. The poster has some creases and a few scuffs scattered in various areas. They are not very noticeable or distracting when the poster is displayed but see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid.
