An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 24" x 38") (Learn More) Poor Girls, the 1927 William James Craft silent romantic melodrama ("A vivid drama of the nightclubs of New York.") starring Dorothy Revier, Edmund Burns, Ruth Stonehouse, Lloyd Whitlock, and Marjorie Bonner NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. Prior to linenbacking, someone neatly trimmed off most of the blank borders and the poster now measures 24" x 38". The poster had many small tears and areas of paper loss surrounding the top crossfold and in the vertical foldline between the top and middle crossfolds. There were some creases and tears on the other foldlines. There was a diagonal tear running through the left of the hair of the woman at left. There were some creases and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking (because the tears and paper loss at the center of the poster fall in the woman's face and upper body). The poster was fairly well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration, and the restorer did not attempt to re-create the missing borders. Learn More about condition grades
