Correll television (TV) comedy series starring Alvin Childress (in the title role as Amos), Spencer Williams (in the title role as Andy), Tim Moore (as Kingfish), Johnny Lee, and Ernestine Wade NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from the first showing of the 8/19/52 episode of "Amos 'n' Andy". We know that for certain because it has the date printed on the snipe on the back. It is very hard to find stills from 1950s or 1960s TV episodes that are absolutely from the first release (and pressure from Civil Rights organizations meant the series was not shown in the 1970s or later). Also note that this TV still measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: fair. The still is lightly rippled throughout. There are faint smudges, stains, and tiny creases scattered throughout.
