An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Lone Round-Up, the 1924 Ernst Laemmle silent cowboy western short starring Jack Daugherty, and Eileen Sedgwick (one of the only true cowgirl stars of the silent era, she had starred in serials for years, and when westerns became popular in the mid-1920s, she starred in several of those). Note that director Ernst Laemmle was Carl Laemmle Sr.'s nephew, and one of many of this relatives that he "brought over" from Germany. Ernst directed many westerns, but apparently he became homesick, because he returned to Germany and directed a few movies for Universal there, but then he retired from the movies in 1930, and passed away in Hollywood in 1950.
