Fortune, the business magazine that was started in 1930 and has continued publication to the present day. Because this magazine was read by a wealthy upper class audience (or those who wanted to be!), they attracted important advertisers, and each issue was filled with 100 or more pages on a high quality paper stock, with many full-color and black & white illustrations. The publishers of this magazine began publishing Life magazine in 1937, and that was an incredibly successful magazine for decades!
