An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Johanna Enlists, the 1918 William Desmond Taylor silent World War I (WWI) romantic love triangle comedy ("By Rupert Hughes"; about a young farm girl who can't find a man, and then a group of cavalry soldiers on their way to France end up camped outside her farm, and suddenly, she has tons of men to choose from, but she can't choose between the three best choices!) starring Mary Pickford (in the title role as Johanna Renssaller), Anne Schaefer, Fred Huntley, Monte Blue, Douglas MacLean, and Emory Johnson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and black tape, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the black tape or the edges of the slide well. Condition: good to very good. The black tape that held the two panes of glass is partially missing, but the two panes of glass are still somewhat attached. Anyone could easily replace the missing tape. Otherwise, this slide is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
