An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) After the Show, the 1921 William C. de Mille (billed as "William de Mille") silent theater stage acting romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the Saturday Evening Post story 'The Stage Door' by Rita Weiman"; about a poor young chorus girl who gets mixed up with a millionaire backer of the show, and an old washed up actor named "Pop" tries to keep her from getting hurt, and he even slashes his wrists to get her to leave the rich man, but when the rich man gives him a blood transfusion, he realizes he is "OK", and besides, he wants to marry the girl!) starring Charles Ogle, Lila Lee, Jack Holt, Eve Southern, and William Boyd (who, 14 years later, became Hopalong Cassidy, in an uncredited role!).
