Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds. It had pinholes around the edges and some separation at the ends of some folds that once had a piece of tape on them that left a stain. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above. You can still see the border defects, but the poster displays well, or certainly, additional slight restoration could be performed without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
