An Original 1929 (from the first release of this movie in German) Vintage German Film Program (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

Noah's Ark ("and the Flood that Destroyed the World!"), the 1928 Michael Curtiz World War I (WWI) romantic love triangle/religious Biblical epic ("The Spectacle of the Ages!"; "based on the story by Darryl Francis Zanuck", later to become one of Hollywood's greatest producers!; a wacky dual story that tells of two best friend soldiers in World War I, and one is in love with a German girl, and he marries her, but she is arrested as a spy and sent to a firing squad, but the husband's best friend is on the firing squad and is able to save her, and then a minister tells in his sermon how this whole story is very similar to the Biblical story of Noah's Ark, which is then reenacted with all the actors from the first part playing the Biblical roles!) starring Dolores Costello, George O'Brien, Noah Beery Sr., Louise Fazenda, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Paul McAllister (in the title role as Noah/the minister), and Myrna Loy. Note that, in 1957, this silent movie was given a full scale major re-release, and the posters gave no indication that the movie was nearly 30 years old!

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of four of the pages of this 8-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and two of the interior pages together). You can see the four of the eight pages, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are four pages you are not seeing. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended).

Condition: very good.
