Somebody Up There Likes Me, the 1956 Robert Wise boxing sports biography melodrama ("A Girl can lift a Fellow to the Skies!"; "M-G-M brings you every heartbeat of an amazing life story!"; "Based on the Autobiography of Rocky Graziano", from the book 'Somebody Up There Likes Me: My Life So Far' by Rocky Graziano "written with Rowland Barber"; "Another life inspired triumph from the producers of 'I'll Cry Tomorrow'") starring Paul Newman, Pier Angeli, Everett Sloane, Eileen Heckart, Sal Mineo, and Steve McQueen (uncredited in his second film role). Note that this movie was intended for James Dean, but he died prior to the start of filming, and Paul Newman took his place!
