Dancers in the Dark, the 1932 David Burton romantic love triangle musician crime melodrama (about a bandleader who has a friend in love with a "taxi dancer", and he sends the friend out of town, but then he falls in love with the girl himself, but a gangster is also in love with her, and the gangster and the bandleader end up being shot, which paves the way for the friend to reunite with the beautiful girl) starring Miriam Hopkins, Jack Oakie, William Collier Jr., Eugene Pallette, and George Raft
