He is best remembered for playing the "Gill Man" on land in Creature From the Black Lagoon (Ricou Browning played him in the underwater sequences). Some of his other movies include: Pagan Love Song, and Hawaiian Nights. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ben Chapman! This was purchased from the estate of longtime collector Garth Geary, who attended many collectibles shows and surely obtained this in person. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.
