He was often a leading man, usually opposite one of the strong leading ladies who did not like an equally strong leading man! Some of his movies include: The Best Man, Red Dust, If I Had a Million, and I'd Rather Be Rich. He passed away in 1998 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Gene Raymond! Our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
