Cline silent Native American Indian cowboy western slapstick comedy short (about bad guys who tell Native American Indians they have to leave their land within one day, and they vow to kill any white men who show up to make them leave, and Buster wanders by, and at first they try to kill him, but then he joins their tribe and saves their land!) starring Buster Keaton (in the title role as Little Chief Paleface), Joe Roberts, and Virginia Fox NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1922 movie paper from this Buster Keaton movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card was "starch backed", which means that it was moistened with a special starch solution, attached to a backing, allowed to dry, and then the card had touch up while it was backed, and afterward, the backing was removed. This particular card had been folded in half and there was some paper loss down the center of the card, but fortunately, it fell between the three people, although the hands were affected. There was paper loss in the center of the bottom border, tapering off to the left and right of that area. A tiny bit of the bottom of the First National logo was affected and otherwise, only blank white paper was affected. The card was starch backed by a really talented professional and fantastic expert restoration was performed to the above defects. I would wager that the vast majority of collectors would not be able to tell the restoration that was performed to the card, even looking at it close up. It displays fantastically, and you don't have a sense of the restoration, and it will look fantastic on anyone's wall! Learn More about condition grades
