Einladung Zur Spielzeit 1987 - 88 (literally translates to "Invitation to the season 1987-88"), the 1987 poster announcing the shows to be held at the Stadtische Buhnen in Osnabruck, Germany. Note that this poster features art of a drum by Per Arnoldi. It was commissioned by German theater director Dr. Erdmut August who also created what may be the world's largest international theater poster archive with holdings of 16,000 different posters by many of the world's leading poster artists. Per Arnoldi is a Danish designer and artist from the 1960s to the present. He has worked with many media and his characteristic simplistic expressions are often categorized as modern art. Arnoldi has worked in many countries around the world and is on permanent exhibit in several prestigious art and design institutions for his unique and influential productions, including Museum of Modern Art in New York.
