An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More)

Not for Publication, the 1927 Ralph Ince silent romantic journalism political corruption crime melodrama ("From the story 'The Temple of the Giants' by Robert Wells Ritchie"; presented by Joseph P. Kennedy) starring Ralph Ince (as 'Big Dick' Wellman), Rex Lease, Jola Mendez (in her second of four movie roles!), Roy Laidlaw, and Eli Barker. Note that producer Joseph P. Kennedy was of course the father of Joe, John, Bobby, and Teddy Kennedy, and had a well publicized love affair with Gloria Swanson for many years. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
