An Original 1938 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Spanish Movie Herald (measures 5" x 6 1/4" [13 x 16 cm]) (Learn More) Nothing Sacred, the 1937 William A. Wellman Vermont romantic screwball comedy ("See the big fight! Lombard vs. March"; "Greatest fight of the century"; "A riotous Technicolor comedy!"; "From the Producer and Director of 'A Star is Born'"; about a woman who pretends to be dying of radium poisoning to get sympathy, but it becomes a major media sensation; the subject matter was controversial at that time; in 1954 it was remade as "Living It Up", with Jerry Lewis playing Lombard's role!) starring Carole Lombard, Fredric March, Charles Winninger, Walter Connolly, Frank Fay, Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom, Margaret Hamilton, John Qualen (uncredited as a fireman!), and Hattie McDaniel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this herald is on a fairly heavy stock (no doubt because it is die-cut and the heavier paper helped it survive better). We can't say for certain that it is from the first release of this movie in 1938 (and it is a Selznick release, which might have had re-releases), but the herald is EXTREMELY elaborate, and we would be very surprised if it is not from the first release! Also note that when Spanish heralds have printing on the back, we picture both sides, but when they are blank on the back, we only picture the front. Condition: very good.
