Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a 2" vertical tear and tiny paper loss at top center that had tape on the back, and there was a 4" horizontal piece of tape on the back of the center of the top border, and both of those slightly bled through to the front. There are some small tears and tiny paper loss in the upper left border. There were pinholes and tiny paper loss in the bottom blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
