An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Advance French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 46 1/2" x 68 3/4" [118 x 175 cm]) (Learn More) WALL-E, the 2008 Andrew Stanton Walt Disney Pixar computer animated animation cartoon romantic family science fiction (sci-fi) robot adventure comedy ("An Adventure Beyond the Ordinar-E"; "After 700 years of doing what he was built for, he'll discover what he was meant for."; "From the humans who brought you Finding Nemo"; "From the humans who brought you 'Finding Nemo' and 'Ratatouille'") featuring the voices of Ben Burtt (in the title role as WALL-E), Elissa Knight (as EVE), Jeff Garlin, Fred Willard, MacInTalk (a speech synthesis program developed by Apple Inc.), John Ratzenberger, Kathy Najimy, and Sigourney Weaver NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This is a very rare uncut printer's test poster (often referred to as a "printer's proof")! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Because they needed to be shown to people at the studio, people in the art department, the stars, etc, they would print a number of test posters and distribute them to these people. Some of them would be fully trimmed, but often they would leave the color chart on the left edge of many of the posters, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 46 1/2" x 68 3/4" [118 x 175 cm]). Once these printer's test posters were shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test poster far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine as there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Note that this is an advance French one-panel (note the "Le 30 Juillet au Cinema" at the bottom of the poster). Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
