An Original Vintage Studio Brochure (measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/4" [24 x 31 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) MGM 1937, the 1937 8-page studio brochure ("Said the circuit booker to the man just arrived from California: 'Tell me, first, what did you see at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios?'") announcing films that MGM had upcoming in 1937, including Captains Courageous, Night Must Fall, Parnell, The Emperor's Candlesticks, and a surprisingly brief blurb with an image from the movie about A Day at the Races (and the scene they pictured shows "the howling wall-paper episode", which, to our mind, is far from the best scene in the movie!). This brochure was printed and distributed direct to theaters, but it likely was also included in exhibitor magazines as a supplement.
