The American Expeditionary Forces (A.E.F.) was a formation of the United States Army on the Western Front of World War I. The AEF was established in 1917 in France under the command of Gen. John 'Black Jack' Pershing. It fought alongside French, British, Canadian, Italian and Australian forces against the German and Austro-Hungarian forces. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had creases in the corners and a stain in the upper right blank border, but overall, the poster was in nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
