Scott Fitzgerald") starring Warner Baxter (in the title role as Jay Gatsby), Lois Wilson (as Daisy Buchanan), Neil Hamilton (as Nick Carraway), Georgia Hale, William Powell (as George Wilson), and Carmelita Geraghty (as Jordan Baker). Note that there were three more movies based on this classic novel (which was published just one year before this 1926 move was released), one with Alan Ladd in 1949, one with Robert Redford in 1974, and one with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2013, but this first silent version is completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist (but a trailer does survive). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned some stills and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is a 1" tear in the upper left blank border and a 1/4" tear in the right blank border, and both were repaired with tape from the back. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
