Kenton Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("New Thrills as the monster stalks again!"; "Original Story, Eric Taylor"; the fourth Universal Frankenstein movie after the three 1930s classics; in this entry, Bela Lugosi as Ygor resurrects the Frankenstein monster and takes him to the doctor's son and they must find a new brain!) starring Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"; as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein), Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill (as Doctor Bohmer), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Evelyn Ankers (as Elsa Frankenstein), Lon Chaney Jr. (as the Frankenstein monster), Holmes Herbert, and Janet Ann Gallow NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #5 in the title of the sale is not the number of the lobby card. Because we are selling more than one lobby card from this movie this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate the different sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, #3, etc..". Condition: very good. the card was professionally paperbacked (mounted on to a fairly heavyweight acid-free board). It appears that this was done because the card had multiple pinholes in each corner and creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the card, extending into the edges of the image background and into the title area at bottom; it appears the only defects the central image had were creases in the middle left of the image and a tack hole in the center of the card; the person who paperbacked the card did an excellent job. The card now looks great, even from close up, and it does not in any way have a "restored" or "painted" look to it, and there is truly next-to-no restoration anywhere within the actual image area!
