An Original 1932 Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Edgar Wallace's The Ringer, the 1931 (released in the U.S. in 1932) Walter Forde English detective mystery crime melodrama ("Edgar Wallace's greatest thriller"; from the novel 'The Gaunt Stranger' by Edgar Wallace; about a criminal who has an incredible gift for impersonation, and he is ruthless, because when he learns his partner is going to betray him, he manages to disguise himself and kill the partner, even while under arrest!) starring Patric Curwen, Esmond Knight, John Longden, Carol Goodner, and Gordon Harker. Note that the IMDb oddly lists this movie as "The Gaunt Stranger", but they themselves say that the correct title is "The Ringer", so we don't think the movie was ever initially released as "The Gaunt Stranger". If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a small group of stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
