The Girl of the Limberlost, the 1945 Melchor G. Ferrer romantic love triangle melodrama ("A stirring novel... a thrilling motion picture!"; "Filmed from the famous novel!"; "Flaming with the fury of a woman's hate... and the beauty of a young girl's love!"; "One of the best-beloved books of all time becomes a stirring motion picture!"; "Love Haunted by the Terror of the Swampland!"; "Based upon the novel by Gene Stratton Porter"; about a woman whose mother rejected her throughout her childhood because she was born the day her father was killed, and she grows up to love a man who loves another, and she sacrifices her happiness so that he can be happy with his true love) starring Ruth Nelson, Dorinda Clifton, Loren Tindall, Gloria Holden, Ernest Cossart, and Vanessa Brown. Note that this movie was a sequel to author Gene Stratton-Porter's "Freckles", and it had been filmed twice earlier in 1924 and 1934.

Condition: fine. This pressbook is in excellent condition! It is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported. I can't imagine a collector who would not be very happy owning this pressbook!
