3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Hearts Up, the 1921 Val Paul silent California romantic cowboy western ("A creaking door, the rustle of a skirt, a shadowy form, and then 'Hearts Up!'"; about a man who meets his late friend's daughter and she thinks he is actually her father who she has never met; he cannot find it in him to tell her the truth and he takes her back to his ranch where his neighbors become suspicious so he finally tells her, and she lets him know that she already found out from a neighbor and that in reality she is in love with him!) starring Harry Carey Sr. ("In the Universal special attraction"; he also wrote the story!), Arthur Millett, Charles Le Moyne, Frank Braidwood, and Mignonne Golden. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a one-sheet poster (in 1995) and one lobby card (and that same card was reconsigned to us in another auction) and NO other movie paper items form this title until we were consigned these three lobby cards in 2020, and now those same cards have been reconsigned to us for this auction, so they are still the only examples of these cards we have ever auctioned!

Condition: good to very good. The card pictured at upper left has some writing along the lower edge (see our image). It has small blank corner loss at upper left. The card pictured at lower left has a tear at upper right that has been repaired with tape from the back and some paper loss in the left blank corners. The other card has some paper loss in the left blank corners and a fragile tear at upper right. They are otherwise in generally nice condition.
