The Sleeping Tiger, the 1954 Joseph Losey (blacklisted at the time and billed as "Victor Hanbury"!) English crime thriller ("A saint turned sinner!"; "Hidden deep within every woman is a Sleeping Tiger... When aroused it can turn a saint into a sinner!"; "Based on a novel by Maurice Moiseiwitsch") starring Alexis Smith, Alexander Knox, Dirk Bogarde, Hugh Griffith, Patricia McCarron and Maxine Audley. Note that this movie was released by Astor Pictures, a releasing studio that mostly did re-releases, but did a few first release movies (usually lower budget movies such as this one).

Important Added Info: Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one! This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most insert posters were folded twice horizontally right off of the printing press! It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most insert posters, especially from before 1970!

Condition: good to very good. There are some 3" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster that have been repaired with tape from the back and some marker from the front (mostly across the bottom edge). There are crease and scuffs throughout the poster.
