Though he is best known as James Bond, he has had a long and illustrious film career! He retired after The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in 2003 (except for a couple of voice roles in small films). Some of his movies include: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Man Who Would Be King, The Untouchables (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Darby O'Gill and the Little People, The Hill, The Longest Day, Marnie, Shalako, The Anderson Tapes (in the title role as Robert 'Duke' Anderson), and Robin and Marian (in the title role as Robin Hood). He passed away in 2020 at the age of 90. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Sean Connery! Note that this is one of a wonderful collection of 91 items that were assembled by a collector decades ago, mostly from RR Auctions, which has auctioned signed items since 1976. The person who purchased these items passed away several years ago, and while he did not save most of the certificates of authenticity he received when he bought these signed items, almost all were purchased between the late 1970s and the early 1990s, and we think it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is genuine. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. There is a 1/4" line of discoloration in the emulsion on the surface of this still running across the girl's hair and through the center of Connery's face.
