An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 10 3/4" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm]) (Learn More)

Citadel of Crime (also released as "Ten Nights In A Barroom"), the 1941 George Sherman crime thriller starring Robert Armstrong, Frank Albertson, Linda Hayes, Russell Simpson, and Skeets Gallagher. Note that when this movie was originally intended to be titled "Ten Nights in a Barroom" (no doubt to try to fool people into thinking they were seeing yet another version of a movie based on the classic novel). To avoid any lawsuits, the producers added to the bottom of the advertising, in very tiny letters "THIS PICTURE HAS NO CONNECTION WITH THE NOVEL AND PLAY OF THE SAME TITLE", but that apparently didn't work, because we have seen a title card with a large corrective snipe over the original title. The IMDb says that the movie was never actually released as "Ten Nights in a Barroom", so maybe they withdrew that after the posters were printed. If anyone knows for sure whether the movie was released under both titles or just one, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 3/4" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The blank borders were unevenly trimmed off and there are some faint scuffs in the upper title area. There is a piece of tape on the back of the center of the top border, but it was not put there for any restoration purpose.
