We have only auctioned it twice before, but it was the same card that we were re-consigned, so we have only auctioned one other example of this window card before we were consigned this second example. It has an image very similar to that of the original six-sheet, and it was made just nine years after the first release. For this re-release, great different images were created for the posters and lobby cards. We have auctioned the one-sheet and lobby cards from this re-release, but this window card only this one time! Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card was folded across the middle and it had rough creases along that fold. It had pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges, with a few pinholes, creases, and scuffs scattered throughout the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was well backed, and displays well, but the restorer painted over the blank borders, and they also brightened the colors of the title and the yellow background area.
