An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 63") (Learn More)

Le Triomphe de Michel Strogoff (literally translates to "The Triumph of Michael Strogoff"), the 1961 Viktor Tourjansky French/Italian royal adventure thriller sequel (based on the novel by Jules Verne) starring Curd Jurgens (in the title role as Michel Strogoff), Capucine, Pierre Massimi, Jacques Bezard, Daniel Emilfork, Raymond Gerome, Valery Inkijinoff, Georges Lycan, Henri Nassiet, Albert Pierjac, Claude Titre, and Simone Valere. Note that this movie is based on the novel, "Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar" written by Jules Verne in 1876. Apparently, this was an incredibly popular action novel of that time, and over the years, there have been around a dozen film adaptations, both silent and sound! Sometimes the lead character's name is changed slightly so as to not sound foreign to the country that made the movie. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
